HowItEnds (“we,” “us”) is a daily Rainbow Six Siege clip prediction game. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it's used. We keep it minimal: there are no accounts and we don't ask you for personal information.

What we collect

• On-device game data (localStorage): your streaks, stats, which clips you've played, and a random device identifier used to prevent duplicate votes. This lives in your browser, not on our servers.
• Votes: when you guess how a clip ends, we record the anonymous vote (which option) tied to that random device identifier — never to your identity.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand traffic and usage (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). These may collect your IP address and set cookies as described in their own policies.

We do not collect your name, email, or other directly identifying information unless you choose to email us.

We and our third-party partners use cookies, localStorage, and similar technologies for analytics, to remember your game progress, and to serve and measure advertising.

We work with third-party services that may collect data or set cookies under their own privacy policies, including:

• Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics — usage measurement.

How we use data

To run and improve the game, tally votes, measure traffic, and display advertising that keeps the site free.

Children's privacy

HowItEnds is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Your choices

You can clear your game data anytime by clearing your browser's site data, and you can manage or block cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your ad-choices controls.
